2016 Corvette Parts
The 2016 Corvette doesn't change much from last year's lineup, which included the Z06 with 650 horsepower and an automatic transmission with eight speeds. But, to be honest, it's difficult to envision this automobile getting any better. For 2016, the Corvette gets a leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel, a power-closing trunk (both coupe and convertible) and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration as standard, while higher trims also get front-view parking cameras. Many small changes have been made to the trim, like making two-tone seats available and getting rid of the Atlantic and Pacific packages. Also, the optional adaptive suspension dampers can now be ordered without the Z51 performance package, and there is a new Z06 C7.R Edition with styling and features that are inspired by racing.
Aside from its L.A.-approved appearance, the Corvette offers supercar-grade performance, cutting-edge technologies, and a sleek, opulent cabin that is finally up to date. It comes as a coupe with a removable roof or a soft-top convertible. All models come with both an automatic and a real seven-speed manual transmission. Unlike its predecessors, this Corvette had almost no flaws. Calling it a world-class value is no longer a compliment; it's truly difficult to believe you can get this much automobile for what Chevy is offering.
