With the addition of the Z06's engine and other features to the convertible body type, a new 427 Convertible Collector Edition makes its debut. Any of the models can have special stylistic elements added with a 60th Anniversary Design Package. On the standard 'Vette and Grand Sport, black-painted wheels and a rear spoiler in the ZR1 style have become options. The 2013 model is far into the Corvette's final years, even if it still had value in the sports car market as GM's engineers started to develop a brand-new model.

Although a new 427 Convertible Collector Edition makes its debut, there are no significant upgrades this year.

The Z06's 505 horsepower V8 in the 427's engine made it the most potent drop-top Corvette ever. The 60th Anniversary Design package for the standard Corvette model adds some unique badges and a white-on-blue paint scheme, capping off the C6 era in style.
