1994 Corvette Parts
1994 was an exciting year for the Corvette! After years of fundraising and planning, the National Corvette Museum opened to the public on September 2, 1994, in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Plus, 25 convertibles were “official cars” for the inaugural NASCAR Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis. A handful of them were later sold to lucky retail customers. The exterior of the 1994 Corvette was the same as the previous year, except two new paint colors were available: Admiral Blue and Copper Metallic. Due to quality concerns, only 116 Copper Metallic 1994 Corvettes were sold.
The 1994 Corvette came with a handful of technology updates. One major update is the standard 4-speed automatic transmission was redesigned with electronic controls for improved shift quality and RPM shift-point consistency.
