1984 Corvette Parts
Have you ever noticed that there aren’t any 1983 Corvette models? You’re not just imagining things. The 1984 Corvette was introduced in March of 1983. Due to its late release and meeting all the 1984 federal requirements, the Chevrolet General Manager decided to skip the 1983 model year. The 1984 Corvette was a complete redesign in almost every aspect. For example, every car was manufactured with one-piece, lift-off roof panels and rear hatch windows. The rear window glass was the largest compound glass ever installed into an automobile.
In 1984, Chevrolet built specially modified Corvettes for European, Middle East, Japanese, and Latin American export markets. Things that set these models apart from the standard model included different license plate provisions, leaded fuel capability, and electrical, glass, lighting, and mirror modifications.
