1976 Corvette Parts

The 1976 Corvette has a collection of features that are specific to its year, one of them being the carburetor air induction system. Previously, the air was drawn in at the rear of the hood, producing a slight howl audible, which was audible when you were in the car. As a result, the air source point was moved forward, so that the air was pulled in over the radiator.

In addition, engineers started putting a partial steel underbelly in the forward section of Corvettes in 1976. This helped with added rigidity, weight reduction, and better isolation of the cockpit from heat generated by catalytic converters.
