1969 Corvette Parts

The 1969 Corvette was undoubtedly similar to its predecessor — featuring only small, mostly design-focused improvements. These included increased passenger and cargo space, a reinforced frame, and the well-known “Stingray” script across front fenders.

Other firsts for this model year included a 350-cubic-inch displacement engine, a steering column ignition switch, 8” wheel widths, and headlight washers. Small, but powerful mechanical improvements bolstered speed and torque, especially so with any performance upgrades.

Although each of these changes may have been small, they showed the world that Corvette was headed in a great direction — and the sales numbers spoke directly to that. Production and sales numbers skyrocketed, increasing by over 10,000 units from the last year.
