Black Zinc Plated Steel Tabs. New Studs Installed. Stud Holes Helicoiled. Many of our 1956-1962 customers report a noticeable vibration or rocking at the base of their windshield. More frequently than not, the windshield mounting posts are snapped off. Over the years, many of these posts have been subjected to questionable repair. In the mid-1980s, Corvette Central developed a permanent fix for this issue by designing a machining operation which allows the installation of steel tabs that are much more resilient than the originals. SENDING INSTRUCTIONS: Ship part via UPS if possible & insure package in case of damage enroute. Write FOR REBUILD on outside of box. Inside, include a sheet with your name, address, email and phone # so we may call you for billing info. Put at least 3" of packing material all around part.

Windshield Post Repair
Corvette Central turned this part around in less than a week and the quality is top notch! My only regret is finding them too late after doing most of my restoration to my 1961 Corvette. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to restore their classic Corvette.
