96 Ignition Module

Distributor ignition modules increase voltage in order for the spark plugs to ignite the air / fuel mixture as the starting and charging system starts the engine, maintains the battery's charge, and provides power to the electrical accessories while the engine is running.

Electrical components such as module are non-returnable parts. Always refer to a factory service manual when diagnosing engine service problems. You can damage electrical components if the proper procedures are not followed. Be sure you are replacing the correct part.
