In 1964, GM introduced their ultimate performance ignition system, transistor ignition or "magpulse". However, there were a few problems that 1960's technology couldn't address. Using today's technology, one of GM's former top electronics experts completely redesigned the amplifier circuit board to bring the system up to its full design potential.
