65-69 Exhaust Headers 396 427 Pair (ND)

Headers fit 396, 427, 454, and 502 Corvettes from 1965 to 1969. Handmade and directly replace the factory cast iron manifolds. These 2" primary tube 16 gauge headers are all handmade and welded then ceramiccoated and copper coated on the inside. The copper coating keeps the heat inside the tube up to 2100 degrees, which supersedes the normal heat rating of Ceramic Coating at 1600 degrees. Your steering box, a-arms, frame rails,idler arm and A/C boxes all clear your new headers and even 4 speed owners, your clutch cross-shaft will clear too! With 2 1/2" Collectors exactly the same as your old Cast Iron Manifolds.

Original alternator, p/s and a/c brackets willfit but you Do need a spacer (a tube cut 3/4" long will work) for the stock 3/8 bolt or bolts that you will re-use instead of a 1" long header bolts. This spaces the brackets out a bit, which makes up for the difference in thickness of the original cast iron manifold that is now a 3/8" thick header flange.
