Watch how you install these
These are great dress up for your small block. However, these valve covers do not come with the factory marks which show you the top and bottom of the valve cover. The left bank is good because it come with the temperature sender wire clips so you know which side is up. Not so with the right side. and there is a definite top and bottom. If you put these on upside down, the lifters will hit the valve cover. The difference is so subtle you wont notice it until you hear the sound of the lifters hitting the cover. That is why the factory marked the covers to show a mechanic which side is up. It would take the manufacturer like 20 seconds to mark the covers but they didn't. Go figure.
