Corvette Central manufactures many parts for Corvettes, including the cable nut for a Corvette air inlet control cable found on 58-60 Corvettes. Our three-step, in-house machining process includes:
Step 1 - We start by feeding a rough stockof brass through the barfeed in the first part of the lathe process.
Step 2 - Create a finishing length, then change the bit to add a smooth finish.
Step 3 - Mill the flats, in preparation for chroming.
