When driven at a moderate to hard pace, the C7 Corvettes can overheat the engine oil causing the ECM to reduce power. This Titanium Shield is a simple but effective solution-the outer layer is our hi-temp titanium material, and the inner layer is 89% silica material to handle extreme heat.

The engine oil cooler and oil filter are located close to the driver-side catalytic converter; this causes thermal heat transfer that raises the oil temperature above the safe operating limit. By installing this heat shield, you will prevent this heat transfer and prevent the oil temperature from rising.
