Description
The aluminum radiator used in 1961 and 1962 Corvettes uses only one GM part number, although changes were made during these two years. 1961 radiators were not painted until the middle of production. Late 1961 & all 1962 radiators were painted black gloss enamel. Also, in March 1962 the part number and date code were stamped on the top of the radiator, and the aluminum tag changed to a "stick on" coolant. These date-stamped 1962 radiators were the only coolant system parts that used the "month/year" format instead of the "year/month" used on all other years, including expansion tanks. The first stamped radiator was "C62".

Service parts produced after 1963 use the formed metal tank and tube assembly from the C2s instead of the upper castings. Exact reproduction of the Harrison plate type aluminum radiators used from 1960-1972. Each unit is 100% correct in every detail, including the part number and date code. Specify the date code when ordering.
