MagnaFlow Performance Exhaust has developed a complete performance cat-back exhaust system to further increase performance of the new 7.0L Corvette Z06. This all-stainless steel dual 3" exhaust was designed to reduce backpressure andfree up all available horsepower from the factory 7.0L V8, while also reducing weight. The stock exhaust was built with a bypass system which forces the 427ci motor to breathe through 2" outlets under 3,000 rpm. MagnaFlow's system is 3" mandrel-benttubing from inlet to tip with superior-flowing mufflers, allowing the car to see an additional 15hp and 18 lb-ft, below 3,000 rpm, and an additional 10hp and 11 lb-ft above 3,000 rpm. Twelve pounds lighter than the stock system, each MagnaFlow cat-back begins with the 3" Tru-X, flowing through dual mandrel-bent pipes into twin 5" x 8" oval polished straight-through mufflers and exiting through two 4" round polished stainless steel double-wall tips.
