C1 CORVETTES (1953-1962)

The first generation of Corvettes, produced from 1953 through 1962, are also known as "straight axle" Corvettes.

C2 CORVETTES (1963-1967)

The second generation of Corvettes, produced from 1963 to 1967, are known as Stingrays or "mid-years."

C3 CORVETTES (1968-1982)

The third generation of Corvettes, produced from 1968 through 1982, are the most widely produced and popular body style, known as "shark body" cars.

C4 CORVETTES (1984-1996)

The fourth generation of Corvettes, produced from 1984 through 1996, was the most technologically advanced Corvette produced at that time and are often the most affordable Corvette to own and drive.

C5 CORVETTES (1997-2004)

The fifth generation of Corvettes were produced from 1997 through 2004 and use the powerful LS-1 or LS-6 engine.

C6 CORVETTES (2005-2013)

The sixth generation of Corvettes began production in 2005 and used a 400 hp LS-2 engine. The Z06(2006-13) has a 505 hp LS-7, and the ZR1(2009-13) has a 638 hp LS-9. The last C6 Corvette was produced on February 28, 2013.

C7 CORVETTES (2014-2019)

The seventh generation Corvette, produced from 2014 through 2019, was available as a coupe or convertible, built with lightweight carbon nanofiber components and a 460 HP LT1 engine. The 2015-2019 Z06 edition sported a supercharged engine delivering 650HP and 650 LT-FT torque.

C8 CORVETTES (2020-2023)

The eighth generation Corvette, produced from 2020 to the present, is Zora's vision of a mid-engine Corvette, providing 490–495 HP. The Z06 boasts 670HP.
